Online Counseling
With recent national and world events, we’ve needed to adapt and be resourceful. Try new things. Telehealth or online therapy for example. For some of us who never dreamed of meeting online, we’ve found virtual therapy to be an effective alternative to meeting in person.
Although virtual therapy isn’t for everyone, research consistently shows that it can be as effective as in person sessions for many mental health issues. Anxiety. Depression. Relationship issues. Trauma. Even with treatments such as EMDR, Brainspotting and other experiential therapies, you don’t need to be in the same room to experience lasting results.
Sometimes meeting in person doesn’t work well for a variety of reasons. Transportation issues, schedule conflicts, childcare, health concerns. You name it. Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? If so, I can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth.
Telehealth allows us to meet via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone. Plus, you don’t need to leave the comfort of your home!
